Dr. Amy Jacobs was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Dr. Jacobs obtained her
undergraduate degree from Lindenwood University. Dr. Jacobs attended the University of
Missouri for Optometry School. Originally Dr. Jacobs wanted to be a pharmacist and did a lot of
shadowing in different areas which is when she decided she liked optometry. Dr. Jacobs found
her love of eye care because of all the different aspects and areas of practice the field has to
offer. Dr. Jacobs and her husband Jimmy were high school sweethearts. They just recently had
a baby. Dr. Jacobs enjoys home design and do it yourself projects.
